I received this medication as an IV infusion while hospitalized for a severe urinary tract infection (UTI) and kidney infection. The infection was gone within 3 days, and the only side effect was mild nausea which is manageable and worth it!

It is more effective when two antibiotics are combined. This has been the case for me in situations where other medications were unable to heal my infection brought on by specific bacteria.
