I’m in week 6 of using Aventyl for my severe anxiety, and it’s also helped with my depression. I’ve had little to no side effects, aside from a brief headache. I haven’t had a panic attack in 5 weeks. I wanted to share this positive experience, as people often focus on negative reviews, while those with good outcomes may forget to share.

Two years ago, after being hospitalized for a severe episode of ischemic colitis, I started experiencing intense and persistent nerve pain. I tried several medications that worked at first, but after a few weeks, the pain gradually returned. Eventually, I was prescribed nortriptyline, which felt miraculous—it completely relieved my pain. I take it at night and experience no side effects. I only wish I had tried it sooner!

I was given this when I was feeling down following the divorce. I didn't speak to anyone and spent weeks isolating myself. I was once forced to go to the doctor by one of my friends. I tormented myself for months before the doctor gave me this medication after the checkup, and I've been living a normal life ever since. To keep my mind composed and rejuvenated, I have also started taking medication twice a day.
